NW Girls Make Noise · Oct 8, 10:41 PM

Northwest Noise is proud to present our very first produced event; the NW Girls Make Noise concert. Featuring the amazingly talented Dirty Martini, Debra Arlyn and Jasmine Ash. Ok, the title of show is self-evident and doesn’t need much explaining but we want to say were very excited to feature these local, independent, female artists for Portland to enjoy in the comfortable and dramatic setting of the Doug Fir Lounge in SE Portland on Thursday, December 13th, 2007.

Headlining this girls only performance will be the folk rock trio, Dirty Martini. The singer songwriters Lara Michell, Stephanie Schneiderman, and McKinley of Dirty Martini finished and released their sophomore album, Tea and Revenge this year; a follow-up to their debut self-titled release from 2005.

Piano playing pop star in the making, Debra Arlyn, is one of a kind. Winner of the 2006 Singer/Songwriter Award, Arlyn reveals her heart and soul to the listener through her music. Her charming manner on and off stage is refreshing and invigorating. Plus, she’s as cute as a button. Yeah, we said it.

Talented singer/songwriter, Jasmine Ash, brings herself to the stage, ready to reveal personal insights through her guitar and angelic voice. Jasmine’s song Hard Times was recently featured on MTV’s pseudo-reality show, The Hills.

We’ll post more news and information as we put the event together. We’re really excited and freak out by this experience, but we think we’ll all have a great time on the evening of December 13th at the Doug Fir.
